Friendly staff, particularly Firdha & Nikola, were gems who guided us throughout our stay. The hotel is well-placed near public transport, making exploration a breeze!

The air conditioning simply didn't cut it, with several rooms suffering from broken fixtures or shower handles!!! Also, the lack of an extractor fan in the bathroom leads to a musty smell that isn’t pleasant.

Family friendly stay worth it

Staff is really friendly, by the time we have arrived (around 1pm) the room was already available. Had a great time enjoying the spacious room where the kids had plenty of space to play. The breakfast spread was just fantastic.

It wasn’t cheap but still okay for what we got.

The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed our time exploring nearby attractions like the Color Line Arena and even caught a football match nearby. The rooms were spacious and the decor was pleasant, making for a comfortable stay with my teens.

I truly enjoyed my stay at NH Hamburg Altona. The spacious room, combined with excellent breakfast options, made me feel at home. A minor inconvenience was the slightly inadequate air conditioning, but that's just a small detail. Overall, a lovely experience!

The seafood at nearby Osteria La Botta was out of this world, a true taste of Hamburg! Also, the staff served a refreshing treat with free drinks in the lobby while I waited to check in. Also, the shower had a design flaw, causing water to spray onto the floor. Despite these issues, I found the location quite convenient with easy access to public transportation.

The room was spacious and comfy with a great bed. I liked the indirect lighting, and the curtains did a solid job of blocking out the light. Water pressure was awesome, and having USB ports by the bed was a nice touch. Free drinks if you opt out of cleaning are cool too!
